There’s a reason they say the kitchen is the heart of the home, and we couldn’t agree more. Kitchens help families and communities connect, sharing their hearts at their bellies in good taste. That’s why there’s nothing ARG loves more than a good kitchen renovation project! In fact, it’s our bread and butter. Whether a quaint character home, a large modern home or something in between – there’s nothing we love more than bringing a new kitchen to life and making our client’s dreams a reality.

We encountered this East Victoria Park home in 2014, and it’s safe to say it lacked the warm personality we all crave from a kitchen. The brief from the client was clear: to actualise a large open plan kitchen with maximum cupboard space and a unique design that makes you say “Wow!” It was no small challenge.

So, what did we achieve?

• Large floating kitchen island bench, boasting a functional preparation area and a welcoming sitting area all in one.
• Unique featured timber to provide separation between the preparation and sitting areas, without creating an unwelcome and polarising divide.
• Maximum storage! Six sets of drawers, four extra-wide overhead cupboards and a floor-to-ceiling walk-in pantry did the trick.
• A cleverly designed mirrored support for the island bench to make you say “Wow!”
• Stylish yet functional finishes elevate the modern feel, including handle-less cabinets and a unique splashback.

The result was a very happy client ready to soak up every millimetre of their brand-new kitchen. Better yet, ARG was awarded two HIA WA Kitchen & Bathroom Awards to mark the occasion! Our team was stoked to collect the trophies for “Winner – Renovated Kitchen Project of the Year” and “Winner – Renovated Kitchen $45-$55K.”
