Nestled in the heart of City Beach, was a beautiful home that ARG was proud to make a mark on. This City Beach home came to us in 2005 in dire need of some renovation love, and we were up for the challenge!

The one-storey home had some modern characteristics, but definitely lacked the highly modern aspirations they had in mind. Furthermore, the owners had outgrown the home – they needed more space! A custom home extension was the only answer.

The existing parts of the home had some stylish and functional elements, but our challenge was to modernise, stylise and elevate the home’s practicality to suit their growing demands.

The owners had heard about ARG and were willing to pay the price for a quality, modern, well-designed result that would improve the home’s potential for decades to come.

We were thrilled to complete the home’s extension to the owner’s vision, breathing life back into the outgrown and outdated home. Even more than that, our team was incredibly proud to receive two Master Builders Housing Excellence Awards in 2005 – being crowned “Overall Winner for Best Alteration & Addition” and “Winner for Alterations & Additions $150-$250K.”

It wasn’t an easy extension project, but it was certainly one of the most rewarding projects that year.
