Coronavirus (COVID-19) certainly threw a spanner in the works for all home renovators and renovation companies, sending all plans for 2020 out the window. We want to assure you, however, that the dream of a newly renovated home, bathroom or kitchen can still come to fruition this year and we can work with you to complete it safely.
To ensure we can continue all our renovation works, we are heeding the recommended safety precautions on-site and in our office. These include:
Avoiding shaking hands and any close contact with clients or other visitors to our office.
Providing adequate facilities and education to enable good hygiene practices (soap, signage and reminders).
Using alternative options for communication such as telephone calls, email and our online builders' software Co-construct.
Requesting that you do not come to our office if you have been in contact with anyone that has suspected COVID-19.
Accessing the latest information and reviewing it regularly, in line with Government health advice.
Working from home if one of our office team is required to self-isolate.
We are also following the industry guidelines developed by the Housing Industry Association (HIA) to manage the risks associated with COVID-19 on renovation sites.
In the coming months, we may experience some delays in the supply of materials or labour due to quarantine requirements. However, we will keep our clients informed about any delays to their renovation projects if or when they occur.
Our current priority is the health of all our staff, contractors, suppliers and clients. So we will do everything we can to continue site operations while taking all necessary safety precautions. If you have any questions regarding a current home renovation project or would like to discuss renovating your home with us, please get in touch.
